Hello, this is Cheongdam Éclatde Clinic. On August 25, Dr. So-yoon Park from our clinic attended the 47th Busan Academic Conference of the Korean Laser, Skin, and Hair Society, which was held in Busan. The conference took place at the Grand Ballroom of SIGNIEL, Busan.
At the conference, Dr. So-yoon Park delivered a lecture on optimizing treatment outcomes using 6.78 MHz Monopolar RF based on basic radiofrequency (RF) theory.
The lecture focused on the current trend of early laser treatments, starting from the early to mid-20s through the mid-30s, aimed at collagen accumulation. Dr. Park proposed safe and effective methods for these treatments, emphasizing the importance of maintaining sufficient intervals between sessions to ensure safe procedures without excessive intensity.
In addition to Dr. Park’s presentation, the conference featured reviews of the latest research on Ultherapy and Thermage, as well as various studies on the principles of RF and monopolar RF based on basic physics. Topics included RF density, intensity, energy distribution based on active electrode size, and the mechanisms by which energy is delivered.
