At the end of May, Dr. So Yoon Park
of Éclat de Cheongdam
participated in a Key Doctor roundtable hosted by D&PS in collaboration with Welcomet Korea.
D&PS is a respected Korean monthly publication widely read by physicians working in dermatology, plastic surgery, and aesthetic medicine. The roundtable brought together experienced Key Doctors to discuss the clinical value ofLDM and Skin Aura, as well as the importance of responsible collaboration between physicians and medical technology companies.

The discussion went beyond device specifications. The physicians shared how each technology is incorporated into real clinical practice, how treatment programs are designed around individual skin conditions, and how long-term clinical experience can contribute to more thoughtful education and product development.
Dr. Park spoke about her long relationship with , ldm which began around 2014 while she was working at a large plastic surgery clinic. At that time, LDM was not yet widely known in Korea, and its mechanism was still unfamiliar to many physicians. Nevertheless, the Welcomet team provided hands-on support during a particularly challenging patient-care situation.
That experience left a lasting impression on Dr. Park.
“To me, LDM is not simply a fashionable device. It is a quiet and dependable ally that helps physicians protect the skin, support recovery, and remain faithful to the fundamentals of medical skin care.”
Rather than viewing LDM as a device designed primarily to maximize clinic revenue, Dr. Park considers it a treatment platform that quietly supports the quality and completeness of patient care.

The program also included a tour of Welcomet Korea’s facilities.
The participating physicians visited the manufacturing area, the education spaces used for LDM and Skin Aura seminars, and the executive offices. Seeing the environment in which the technologies are developed, managed, and taught offered a valuable perspective on the people and philosophy behind the devices.
Following the formal discussion, the group gathered for commemorative photographs and concluded the day with a warm dinner, where clinical experiences and future academic plans continued to be shared in a more relaxed setting.

At Éclat de Cheongdam, LDM Triple is used across a wide range of treatment programs.
LDM Triple is a multi-frequency ultrasound system that selects three frequencies, depending on the treatment mode, from 1, 3, 10, and 19 MHz. This flexibility allows the treatment to be adjusted according to skin thickness, treatment depth, sensitivity, and the patient’s overall skin condition.

It may be incorporated into programs for
:
- Hydration and skin-condition management
- Bridal skin preparation
- Recovery support before and after skin-booster treatments
- Swelling and bruise care following aesthetic procedures
- Soothing and balancing the skin after energy-based device treatments
- Supporting a smoother, more luminous and refreshed appearance
Éclat de Cheongdam also combines LDM Triple with technologies such as Skin Aura and Corage 2.0 in recovery-focused programs designed to support the skin’s overall environment rather than relying solely on aggressive stimulation.
For international visitors, LDM is often a convenient treatment to include during a short stay in Seoul.
The procedure is non-invasive and generally comfortable, with little interruption to normal travel plans. Because it does not rely on creating strong thermal injury, it may be considered by patients who prefer a gentler approach to hydration, soothing, skin balance, and post-treatment recovery.

It can be particularly appealing for travelers who:
- Have dry or tired-looking skin after a long flight
- Want a fresh, hydrated appearance before an important event
- Prefer a treatment with minimal visible downtime
- Have received another aesthetic procedure and would like additional recovery care
- Want to maintain healthy-looking skin without an overly aggressive treatment
Treatment settings and combinations are selected only after an individual consultation, as skin condition, recent procedures, travel schedule, and sensitivity may differ from person to person.

The D&PS Key Doctor roundtable was a meaningful opportunity to reflect on the role of medical technology, clinical responsibility, and long-term partnership.
Dr. Park will continue to share her accumulated experience with LDM and Skin Aura through academic lectures and international medical exchange. At Éclat de Cheongdam, every technology is approached not simply as a device, but as part of a carefully considered treatment plan designed around the health, balance, and natural beauty of each patient’s skin.
