Lip Filler & Lip Corner Filler

A treatment designed to add natural volume to thin lips, improve lip shape, and gently lift the corners of the mouth for a softer and more youthful appearance.

For years, I kept telling myself:

"Botox is fine, but I will NEVER put filler in my face."

That was my mindset for the longest time.

I spent years reading stories about filler complications and convincing myself that fillers would never be part of my beauty routine.

Then one day, I decided to make a tiny exception...

For my lips.

And honestly?

I'm so glad I did.

If you look at my old selfies, one thing immediately stands out:

My lips were extremely thin.

No matter what lipstick I wore, my lips always looked flat and lacked definition.

When my face was relaxed, the corners of my mouth naturally turned downward, making me look more tired or serious than I actually felt.

And full lipstick looks? Forget it.

They always looked awkward on me because there simply wasn't enough lip volume to support the look.

Since this was my first filler treatment, I was incredibly cautious.

I wasn't looking for the cheapest option.

I wanted a doctor who would personally assess my face and design the treatment carefully.

One of the biggest reasons I chose this clinic was the female director herself.

She has extensive experience and has previously served as a dermatology center director at major aesthetic hospitals in Seoul.

That immediately gave me confidence.

Another thing I loved was the aftercare system.

Knowing that the clinic provides follow-up care if needed made me feel much more comfortable taking the leap.

Unlike many clinics where you first meet a consultant and only briefly see the doctor before treatment, my consultation was directly with the doctor.

We discussed:

  • My naturally thin lips
  • My concerns about looking overfilled
  • My fear of an artificial "heart-shaped" lip design
  • The type of result I wanted

I didn't bring photos of celebrities.

Honestly, all I said was:

"I just want natural-looking lips."

No exaggerated shape.

No overly dramatic volume.

Just prettier, softer, more balanced lips.

I was actually having Rejuran treatment on the same day, so numbing cream was applied for almost an hour.

The staff even offered to extend the numbing time to make everything more comfortable.

Needless to say, I accepted immediately.

Anything that reduces pain is always a good idea.

The procedure itself was surprisingly fast.

The doctor carefully injected small amounts of filler and continuously molded the shape by hand throughout the process.

The entire treatment took less than ten minutes.

The most surprising part?

It wasn't nearly as painful as I expected.

The initial needle prick stung slightly, but once the filler was being injected, it felt more like a pressure or fullness sensation rather than actual pain.

When I looked in the mirror afterward, I honestly couldn't stop smiling.

The difference was noticeable, yet incredibly natural.

My lips looked:

  • Softer
  • Fuller
  • More balanced
  • More youthful

Most importantly, the corners of my mouth appeared gently lifted.

Exactly what I wanted.

No one would immediately think:

"She got lip filler."

Instead, they would probably think:

"She looks prettier today."

Which is honestly the best compliment possible.

28 Hours Later

The next afternoon, I started noticing some light bruising near the corners of my mouth.

There was also mild swelling.

But honestly?

I loved the look.

For the first time in my life, I felt excited to apply lipstick.

Everything looked better.

The funny thing is that I actually started wishing I had gone slightly fuller.

Before the treatment, I was terrified of overdoing it.

Afterward, I understood why people come back for touch-ups.

Once you see natural results, you immediately become more confident.

This treatment completely changed my opinion about fillers.

What I learned is that the result depends heavily on:

  • The doctor's experience
  • Proper facial analysis
  • Conservative design
  • Choosing the right filler for your features

My lips still looked like my lips.

Just a prettier version.

Natural movement.

Natural shape.

Natural volume.

And honestly?

I only wish I had done it sooner.
