Pigmentation Laser Treatment
A laser treatment designed to improve pigmentation concerns such as dark spots, freckles, melasma, uneven skin tone, and discoloration around the eyes. By targeting different layers of pigment within the skin, the treatment helps create a brighter, clearer, and more even complexion over time.

Hello:)
I usually visit dermatology clinics regularly for:
Fine lines
Lifting treatments
Skin boosters
Deep hydration care

But honestly, pigmentation lasers were never something I paid much attention to because I personally don’t have severe melasma or freckles.
This time was different though.

My mom had been feeling stressed for a long time about the dark pigmentation under her eyes, so as a Lunar New Year gift, I decided to take her to Eclate De Clinic.

The reason I chose this clinic specifically was because their Dual Toning treatment combines:
Pico toning
Alex toning

using two different laser systems to target multiple pigmentation layers at once.
Before treatment, my mom’s skin condition showed:
Pigmentation around the cheekbone area
Dark under-eye discoloration
Freckles and uneven tone
Mixed shallow and deep pigmentation layers
But the thing she worried about most was definitely the darkness under her eyes.

People constantly told her:
“You look tired.”
And honestly, that really bothered her emotionally over time.
I’ve visited many dermatology clinics myself over the years, but choosing a clinic for a family member somehow feels much more serious and careful.

One of the reasons I trusted this clinic was because I had already experienced:
Lifting treatments
Body Botox
Skin boosters
here personally before, and every treatment had always felt systematic and detailed.
The director doctor also previously worked as the head of dermatology centers at large hospitals, so I always felt she handled different skin types and facial concerns very carefully and individually.
After booking the appointment, my mom received a very detailed consultation.
The doctor carefully checked:
Previous eye-area procedures
Skin condition
Pigmentation depth
Which treatment approach would be safest and most effective
After examining everything, the conclusion was to start with Dual Toning first to gradually target the multiple pigmentation layers.

Depending on how the skin improved later, they would then decide whether additional treatments like under-eye volume correction would be helpful afterward.
The interesting thing about Dual Toning is that it uses two different laser systems to target:
Surface pigmentation
Deep pigmentation
Small pigment particles
Larger pigment clusters
Redness and tone correction
all together in one session.
What I also liked was that the clinic included:
Brightening care
Pre-treatment skin prep
Post-treatment calming care
alongside the laser itself.
Honestly, I’d recommend reserving around two hours total because the entire process is surprisingly detailed.
Since this was my mom’s FIRST laser treatment ever, she was extremely nervous.

So I stayed beside her during the entire treatment.
The staff and doctor explained every single stage carefully:
What laser was being used
What each step was targeting
What sensations to expect
How the treatment helps pigmentation
And honestly, I think that made first-time patients feel much safer and more relaxed.
The whole Dual Toning treatment was divided into five detailed stages.

What surprised me most was how bright and fresh the skin already looked immediately afterward.
I actually found myself thinking:
“Wait… maybe I should try this too?”
My mom also said the treatment was much more comfortable than she expected.
There wasn’t significant pain, and she felt relaxed throughout most of the session.

Another thing we liked:
You can wash your face and wear makeup normally afterward, so there’s basically no major downtime.
The clinic only emphasized:
Consistent sunscreen use
Frequent use of regenerative cream
Proper hydration and skin barrier care

because laser treatments temporarily stimulate the skin.
They also explained that tiny micro-crusts can sometimes appear afterward, but my mom barely experienced any discomfort or visible crusting.
About one week later though, something interesting happened.
The pigmentation around the cheekbones actually looked slightly darker at first.

So naturally we got worried and contacted the clinic.
They kindly explained that after Dual Toning, deeper pigmentation can temporarily rise toward the skin surface, making it appear darker before gradually fading over time.
Honestly, that explanation alone reassured us so much.
And exactly as they explained…
The pigmentation gradually softened afterward.
Usually Dual Toning works best with:
Around 3–5 sessions consistently
But honestly, even after just ONE session, we could already notice visible improvement.
Three weeks later:
The under-eye pigmentation that had bothered my mom so much looked noticeably lighter.
But honestly, I think my mom felt the difference even more emotionally than I did visually.
She told me that people stopped asking:
“Are you tired?”
And that alone made her so happy.
Not only did the pigmentation improve, but her overall skin tone also looked:
Cleaner
Brighter
More refreshed
which softened her entire impression naturally.
For anyone struggling with:
Under-eye darkness
Melasma
Freckles
Uneven pigmentation
Mixed redness and pigmentation concerns
I can definitely understand why Dual Toning has become such a popular option.
And honestly?
As a holiday gift for parents…

Dermatology treatments might actually be one of the most satisfying presents ever.
