Rejuran is honestly famous for one thing…

The pain.

A few years ago, I tried under-eye Rejuran at another clinic and genuinely thought:

“Never again.”

I had tears running, my head was pounding, and it was honestly one of the most painful skin treatments I had ever experienced.

But humans really do forget pain eventually.

So after two years…

I somehow decided to try it again.

This time, I was already doing Ultherapy 300 shots together on the same day, so since I was already under sedation, I figured:

“Why not just do Rejuran too?”

Honestly, if they had told me to do it only with numbing cream…

I probably would have refused immediately.

I’ve been visiting Eclat de Clinic since last summer, and honestly:

  • Location

  • Service

  • Facilities

  • Pricing transparency

have all been incredibly satisfying.

One thing I personally liked was that event pricing could actually be checked through KakaoTalk beforehand.

Anyone who visits Korean dermatology clinics knows the anxiety of wondering:

“How expensive is this going to be…?”

Compared to factory-style clinics, it’s obviously more expensive.

But after experiencing both types of clinics, I personally decided that for procedures like Ultherapy or Rejuran, skill matters much more than simply choosing the cheapest place.

I once wasted money at a cheaper clinic and barely saw any results, so after that my perspective changed completely.

Before Rejuran started, they first did full skin prep and cleansing care.

They even helped with:

  • Exfoliation

  • Blackhead care

  • Skin prep treatment

And honestly, that already raised the overall satisfaction level.

In my 20s, my biggest skin concern was acne.

But once I entered my 30s, the real issue became:

  • Skin elasticity

  • Deep dehydration

  • Uneven texture

  • Fine lines from dryness

When I was younger, simply sleeping well made my skin glow naturally.

Now?

No matter how much I sleep, my skin still looks tired and dry.

Even mask marks stay visible forever now.

The clinic view itself was honestly so relaxing too.

Lying there quietly while waiting for the doctor somehow became healing by itself.

From what I understand, most people get Rejuran because they want:

  • Glass skin

  • Better elasticity

  • More hydration

  • Smaller pores

  • Improved fine lines

  • Overall smoother texture

And honestly…

Even though it hurts, the reason people keep doing it becomes obvious afterward.

Because after around 3 days, the skin suddenly becomes:

  • Smooth

  • Tight

  • Extremely glowy

That “tight glass skin” look becomes addictive.

Immediately after the procedure though…

Honestly?

I looked terrible.

Because I had sedation anesthesia, I was half awake and my expression in photos afterward looked completely lost.

The clinic also placed me into a hyperbaric oxygen recovery system afterward because I usually recover slowly after sedation.

That level of care honestly impressed me so much.

The facilities and kindness of the staff genuinely felt luxurious and thoughtful.

Right after Rejuran:

  • The skin looked bumpy

  • Injection marks were everywhere

  • My face looked swollen and uneven

7.jpg

But surprisingly, the doctor had actually done the treatment VERY carefully.

I know this because I had done Rejuran elsewhere before, and that time my face looked genuinely horrifying afterward.

Compared to that experience, this recovery was actually very manageable.

The little bumps disappeared within about 24 hours.

The small red needle bruises took around one week to fade.

Honestly, the first 3 days are the peak “ugly phase.”

But around Day 4, something starts changing.

The marks are still there slightly, but suddenly your skin begins reflecting light differently.

It feels like:

  • Fine lines become stretched out

  • Elasticity increases

  • Hydration improves

  • The skin surface becomes smoother

And because the skin surface becomes tighter, light reflects beautifully off the skin.

9.jpg

That’s honestly the best way I can describe it.

For about one week, I mostly wore masks outside.

But once makeup was applied, nobody noticed anything.

Actually, people started saying:

“Your skin looks really good lately.”

At this point, it had already been about two months since the treatment.

Personally, I think the BEST Rejuran period is:

  • Around Week 2

  • Through Week 4

I took photos almost daily because I was curious how long the results would last.

And honestly…

Weeks 2–5 were AMAZING.

The tiny dehydration bumps disappeared.

My skin tone looked clearer.

My skin texture became smoother overall.

And for the first time in a long time, I genuinely felt confident even without makeup.

Usually I struggle with:

  • Enlarged pores

  • Uneven texture

  • Dehydrated oily skin

But after Rejuran, my oil-water balance honestly felt more stable overall.

The interesting thing is that the effect isn’t necessarily “dramatic.”

16.jpg

It’s more like:

“You somehow keep having really good skin days continuously.”

That’s honestly the best description.

Because my skin looked healthier overall, I started going out with:

  • Just sunscreen

  • Very light base makeup

And makeup started sitting SO much better on my skin.

Foundation stopped collecting into fine lines and texture.

Around the two-month mark, I slowly started feeling dryness returning again.

17.jpg

That’s when I finally understood why clinics recommend:

“3 sessions spaced about one month apart.”

Once you experience that glowing skin effect, you honestly start wanting maintenance treatments regularly.

The only real downside?

The pain.

Seriously.

Your face is basically being injected hundreds of times.

So if you have low pain tolerance, I honestly recommend sedation.

Recently I also got very sick during a trip after catching COVID, and my skin condition definitely worsened afterward because my overall health dropped badly.

Even now I still feel fatigue sometimes, and I noticed my skin texture becoming rougher again afterward.

18.jpg

But even now, the thing I loved MOST about Rejuran remains the same:

That stretched, glossy glow.

Not just shiny skin…

But tight, healthy-looking glow where:

  • Pores look smaller

  • Texture looks smoother

  • Fine lines soften

  • Skin reflects light beautifully

For me personally:

  • Peak beauty period: around Weeks 3–4

  • Gradual decline afterward

  • Overall effect lasted around 2 months

And honestly?

Now I completely understand why people become addicted to Rejuran despite the pain.

Especially during autumn and winter when maintaining naturally glowing skin becomes harder.

In the end, I realized something important too:

Treatments help a lot.

But consistent home skincare still matters if you want the results to truly last.
