Can a 600,000 KRW Rejuran Ingredient Really Be Replaced with a 500 KRW Product? Does the famous “Dermatology Clinic Destroyer” Stiva-A Cream Actually Work?

Hello,

This is Dr. Soyoon Park from Cheongdam Eclat De Clinic, where we help you achieve radiant skin.

These days, if you watch YouTube, you can find countless skincare-related videos.

2.jpg

Especially during difficult economic times like now, there are many sensational titles and thumbnails designed to attract clicks, such as:

“Cheaper than expensive treatments,”

“The cream that destroys dermatology clinics,”

and many other highly exaggerated claims.

3.jpg

So today, I’d like to talk about whether products like these truly exist,

and if they really provide effects similar to professional dermatology treatments.

What is Rejuran Healer?

4.jpg
5.jpg

“Rejuran Healer” is a treatment that injects PN (Polynucleotide), a regenerative substance extracted from salmon, directly into the dermal layer of the skin.

It helps activate the skin’s regenerative abilities while improving elasticity, hydration, and wrinkles.

6.jpg

Because Rejuran uses biocompatible substances rather than artificial materials, it is considered both safe and natural.

7.jpg

In fact, research conducted in 2014 by Seoul National University Bundang Hospital and Kyung Hee University reportedly demonstrated improvements in wrinkles and fine lines around the eyes.

8.jpg
9.jpg

Rejuran is administered through hundreds of tiny injections directly into the skin.

Doctors may inject it manually or use specialized injectors.

10.jpg

Although some discomfort can occur, painless treatment is possible when numbing cream and gas anesthesia are used together.

11.jpg
12.jpg

After the procedure, temporary bumps may appear on the skin, but they usually disappear within one or two days without affecting daily life.

Since Rejuran ingredients are fully absorbed and broken down inside the body, it is considered a very safe procedure with no major side effects reported so far.

13.jpg

Most importantly, because there is minimal downtime and high short-term satisfaction,

many patients continue to receive the treatment regularly.

When performed three to four times at intervals of two to three weeks, the results can last for a long time.

Can Eye Drops Have the Same Ingredients as Rejuran?

15.jpg

Recently, I saw several videos comparing expensive Rejuran Healer treatments with inexpensive artificial tears costing only a few hundred won.

16.jpg
17.jpg

Because the eye drops contain PDRN, an ingredient somewhat similar to PN, some videos claim that soaking cotton pads with the solution and applying them to the face can create similar effects.

Personally, I disagree with that explanation.

18.jpg

First of all, PN and PDRN are different ingredients.

19.jpg

The PN used in Rejuran has longer nucleic acid chains and larger molecules than PDRN, and it was specifically developed for skin tissue regeneration.

20.jpg

The PDRN used in eye drops contains much smaller amounts intended only to help tiny corneal injuries recover.

Therefore, I believe simply applying eye drops to the skin would make it difficult to achieve meaningful skin improvement.

21.jpg

If pharmaceutical companies truly intended inexpensive eye drops to have the same effects as Rejuran Healer treatments costing hundreds of thousands of won,

wouldn’t that seem unrealistic from a common-sense perspective?

Is Stiva-A Cream Really a Miracle Cream?

22.jpg

Stiva-A cream became extremely popular because people claimed it could treat both acne and skin aging.

After temporarily disappearing from the market, it has recently become available by prescription again.

23.jpg

But is this cream really a miracle solution for all skin problems?

24.jpg

Recently, if you search online, you may actually find more reviews discussing side effects such as skin sensitivity and red irritation rather than dramatic improvements.

So what is the truth?

25.jpg

The main ingredient in Stiva-A cream is tretinoin, a vitamin A derivative.

26.jpg

When applied to the skin, it helps normalize cell turnover, promote keratinocyte division, and reduce sebum production, thereby improving acne.

27.jpeg

It may also improve blood circulation and encourage melanin turnover, helping brighten skin tone.

28.jpg
29.jpg

However, like all medications, side effects can occur.

If used without proper diagnosis and prescription from a doctor,

retinoid dermatitis may occur, causing burning, irritation, and itching.

The concentration should be increased very gradually starting from a very low dose.

However, many people want faster results and begin with overly strong concentrations from the start.

30.jpg

In addition, to properly see the effects of Stiva-A cream,

it usually needs to be applied daily for nearly six months.

Many people stop before then because they either experience side effects or fail to notice immediate improvements.

31.jpg

Rather than risking damage by experimenting on your own skin,

I would personally recommend receiving safe and professional dermatology treatments for faster and more reliable results.

32.jpg

Everyone wants to maintain clean and youthful skin for a long time.

However, there really doesn’t seem to be an easy or instant shortcut.

33.jpg

Without improving your lifestyle habits and surrounding environment,

you cannot expect satisfying results simply by relying on one product alone.

34.jpg

If you sleep without removing makeup or constantly consume oily foods and foods with high sugar levels,

even expensive procedures and skincare products may not produce good results.

35.jpg

The products introduced on YouTube may offer some degree of improvement.

However, if you want more noticeable and reliable results,

professional dermatology treatments are generally safer and more effective.

Thank you for watching this long video until the end.

We will return next time with even more useful information.

Thank you.
