Today, we’d like to share a case of a client who visited us with concerns about changes in her facial contour due to recent weight gain. After a detailed consultation, we recommended and proceeded with Onda lifting using 100,000 shots to help refine and lift the overall face line.
I visited the clinic because I was concerned about my facial contour after gaining weight recently. My cheeks started to look heavier and slightly saggy, especially around the mid-face area near the nose. After examining my face, the doctor recommended Onda Lifting with 100,000 shots, explaining that it would help reduce fat and improve overall lifting.
Why I Chose Onda Lifting
I usually do lifting treatments regularly. I get Ultherapy or Thermage once a year, and in between I maintain results with more affordable and less painful treatments. Onda lifting was actually something I used to recommend to friends with fuller faces, so this time I decided to try it myself.
What I liked the most was that it doesn’t require numbing cream and is known to be much less painful compared to other lifting lasers.
Before the Procedure
The clinic is one I’ve been visiting for a while. It’s always on time, very private, and the doctor personally does the consultation instead of passing it to a coordinator. He also remembers my face and doesn’t recommend unnecessary treatments, which made me trust the process more.
Since my concern was sagging cheek fat, the doctor suggested going for a stronger session with 100,000 shots.
LDM Care (Before Treatment)
Before starting, I also did LDM lifting care, which I personally love. It really helps smooth out the skin texture and improves absorption. I’ve tried LDM in other places before, but the machine quality really makes a difference.
Here they use the triple version, which is one of the highest grades.
During the Procedure
Unlike other lifting treatments, Onda uses oil instead of gel, so jojoba oil was applied before starting. The device itself looked less intimidating than other machines, but I was still a bit nervous since there was no numbing.
As the treatment started, it felt warm rather than painful. Honestly, the pain level was very low, maybe around 2 out of 10 compared to Ultherapy.
However, since it was 100,000 shots, the heat gradually built up, especially towards the end. It wasn’t unbearable, just noticeably warmer.
I asked the doctor to focus more on my mid-face sagging area, and he carefully adjusted the treatment accordingly.
Right After
Right after the procedure, I could already see a slight lifting effect on one side of my face. My cheek looked more lifted and defined.
There was some redness, especially around the cheekbones, but it looked more like pressure marks rather than irritation. The pain was minimal, and I could go back to daily life immediately.
I did notice slight swelling in the mornings for about a week, but it was subtle enough that I couldn’t tell if it was from the treatment or just normal puffiness.
After one month, I can clearly see that the sagging cheek area around my nose looks more refined. The “bulldog” cheek effect I used to notice in photos has improved, and my facial line looks cleaner overall.
It’s not a dramatic change, but it’s one of those subtle improvements that make your face look more balanced and lifted.
If Ultherapy or Thermage feels too expensive or too painful, I think Onda lifting is a great alternative, especially for people with more facial fat or sagging concerns.
The biggest advantage for me was definitely the low pain. No numbing, no stress, and still visible results.
