I’ve always been very interested in skincare.
I used to hear a lot that I had good skin, but suddenly I started getting breakouts. While trying different treatments, my skin became more sensitive.

It turned into a combination of sensitivity, dryness, and fine lines, and it felt like there was no easy way to go back.
Through this process, I learned a lot about skincare and lifting lasers. One thing I realized is that choosing what suits your own skin is the most important.
Recently, with childcare and working late nights, I started to feel unfamiliar with my reflection in the mirror.
That’s when I thought, it’s time for lifting.
At first, I considered Thermage, since it’s well known. But after carefully analyzing my skin and comparing options with the doctor, I decided to try Oligio this time, especially since I had already experienced Thermage before.
Now that it’s been a month, I’ll share my honest review of the differences, pain level, and effects of Oligio 300 shots.
(This is a self-paid review.)

Why I Chose Oligio 300 Shots
My skin started to look saggy and dull, and I was losing confidence looking in the mirror.
I also became more conscious of my nasolabial folds.
I even considered thread lifting, but decided it wasn’t the right time.
If you’re like me, with thin skin, low facial fat, and concerns about fine lines, you’re usually recommended Thermage or Oligio.
I wanted:
Better elasticity
A more youthful appearance
Improved skin condition
Minimal pain
Since 300 shots is relatively light and doesn’t interfere with daily life, I chose Oligio 300 shots.
What Is Oligio Lifting?
Oligio is a monopolar radiofrequency treatment that delivers heat to the dermis layer, stimulating collagen production.
It helps improve elasticity and reduce fine lines.
Even though my skin is sensitive, I experienced very little pain or swelling. I was able to go back to work the next day.
There was slight redness, but nothing that interfered with daily life.

Oligio Frequency (How Often to Do It)
For thin skin with fine lines and low elasticity like mine:
300 shots or 600 shots can be chosen depending on your condition
It also helps define the jawline
Compared to 600 shots, 300 shots is a lighter, more approachable option.
Oligio: about 2–3 times per year
Thermage: about 1–2 times per year
I personally plan to continue treatments every 3–4 months.

Oligio vs Thermage (Pain & Experience)
Thermage was quite painful for me, and also expensive.
That’s why I wanted something more comfortable and natural, so I chose Oligio 300 shots.
The procedure starts with numbing cream.
Since I remembered Thermage being painful, I was honestly nervous.
They even gave me a stress ball to hold
But once it started…
It just felt warm. Not painful at all.
After around 100 shots, it felt slightly hotter, but still very manageable.

Important Point: Doctor’s Skill
No matter which treatment you choose, technique matters a lot.
I’ve tried factory-style clinics before when I was younger, and I regret it.
Even if you do it less often, it’s better to go somewhere with a skilled doctor.
Quality over frequency, always.

Right After the Treatment
300 shots finished faster than I expected.
After calming care and a regeneration laser, everything was nicely completed.
My skin felt tighter, but not like I had lost volume.
More like subtle firmness.

Results (After 1 Month)
From the next day, I noticed improvement in skin texture.
My skin felt smoother, which I personally loved the most.
After 3 weeks:
My jawline looked slightly more defined
My cheeks felt firmer
And most importantly…
A month ago, I didn’t even want to look in the mirror.
Now, even under bathroom lighting, I feel good seeing my reflection.

Precautions
Use lukewarm water instead of cold water
Avoid sauna and intense exercise for 1 week
Makeup is fine from the next day
Results gradually improve after 2–4 weeks

Final Thoughts
Oligio gives results similar to Thermage,
but with less pain and a more reasonable cost.
If you’re concerned about fine lines and elasticity, I hope this review helps you.
